The Program
The NOCCCD School of Continuing Education's Early Childhood Education program is the forerunner in quality vocational training. Our certificated curriculum is contemporary and approved by the State Department of Community Care Licensing. The program exceeds the State training requirements for ECE teachers and caregivers in licensed, proprietary infant, toddler, and preschool child daycare centers. The ECE program is a non-credit program based upon instructional hours, rather than college units.
Employment Opportunities
Students with the ECE Career Certificate are eligible to become employed in the private sector, including private preschool facilities, church preschools, Montessori and after-school care.
